"Picture of Dog in Front Yard at a Suburban House"
To me, happiness is feeling loved. This is a picture of my dog in front of my parent's home in Connecticut. My dog (Molly or Malka -- "Queen" in Yiddish) gives me unconditional love. If I am happy, sad, stressed, or angry, Malka will still be excited to see me walk through the door. She will still lick my face, jump on my lap, and run around in circles of excitement. She makes me smile on the inside and reminds me to put things into perspective. She is a bundle of love, always ready to play. She makes me strip off the layers of complex emotions I am feeling and puts me in touch with my most basic, raw, and uncomplicated feelings of happiness. I love my dog because she always loves me.
