Cats at home epitomize domestic happiness to me. They are by turns exuberant, playful, attentive, affectionate, and at ease. There was a cat in my home throughout my childhood, and now that I have children of my own, having cats completes my sense of feeling grounded at home and in my family. Their good qualities are also contagious to everyone living with them.
