Claude, Claudius, Claudius Maximus Cheesypuffs, Mr. McBock, Mr. McTock, Fattock, Fartock, Tubbalubba, Flumpalumpa, Killer Kitang, Schmoopie Kitty.... These are but a few of the many names that Claude responds to. Claude belonged to my husband before we met. X---- treats Claude like a dog and has trained him to do a few tricks (sitting on command is his best). While X---- will always be Claude's first love, he and I have developed a good relationship. I am constantly trying to win him over to my side. I differentiate myself by treating him like a cat, which he shows signs of appreciating. He is getting better at enduring hugs, and occasionally will even curl up is my lap on his own. Claude is a great companion, who gives more enjoyment to both X---- and I than we could ever repay.
